EC&I Engineer - PA

Job Description

Company that specializes in the design and manufacturing of pharmaceutical laboratory equipment including aseptic isolators and containment units is seeking an Electrical Controls & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to contribute to the success of new product development for a new line of equipment. Work in a very creative environment with the opportunity to have a major part in the R&D team. Potential for fast growth within the company and earn a base salary of up to $100K!

Responsibilities:
* Perform project electrical and pneumatics hardware and PLC/HMI software design including test and validation activities on equipment and systems.
* Liaise with team members to ensure effective communication and execution of design
* Liaise with suppliers to understand the equipment being used
* Understand requirements for aseptic and non-aseptic isolator systems
* Generate P&IDs, electrical schematics, panel wiring diagrams, termination diagrams, pneumatic schematics, assembly instructions, functional specifications, PLC/HMI software design specifications and test/validation protocols to required standards
* Travel to manufacturing site to facilitate design transfer and handover to production team.

Desired Skills & Experience

REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 5 years experience in electrical hardware, pneumatics hardware and software design including:

1 Electrical control panel diagrams
2 BOM generation
3 Pneumatic schematic generation
4 PLC & HMI programming in Siemens (Allen Bradley OK)
5 Technical writing experience

* MUST have at least 2 YEARS experience working with aseptic isolator or pharmaceutical containment units.
