For a major international client in Lausanne, we are looking for a:

EBUSINESS APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST to provide operational and technical support for complex issues to the users of eBusiness applications, to ensure that the business benefits of applications continue to be achieved throughout their lifetime. Working within a small dedicated expert team of technical configuration competency owners, you will build and maintain technical configuration documentation and knowledge for all eBusiness applications.

Responsibilities will include:

Application Support

- Ensure continuity of the business processes supported by one or many applications/services
- Provide applications support and guidance which may include service packs, upgrades and infrastructure
- Ensure continuity and quality by owning the resolution of issues across platforms, tracking progress and escalating as appropriate
- Investigate complex issues, identify and write specifications of solutions to solve re-occurring problems, and follow correction implementation executed by technical teams
- Adhere to appropriate departmental procedures and practices (such as auditing requirements, control procedures and incident management procedures)
- Work closely with Monitoring Team to ensure platform monitoring and performance tuning

Technical configuration guidance

- Maintain appropriate levels of technical and procedural documentation
- Share/spread knowledge throughout the Support Team and relevant areas, from development through to support
- Work in partnership with other departments as required, ensuring correct exchange of knowledge and successful transition of developments into production
- Understand, in depth, the business processes supported by the system, in direct relation with Internet Business Support Team

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

- Degree in Information Technology
- ITIL methodologies foundation or advanced certification
- Previous experience in a support or customer facing role in the area of Sales & Marketing or eBusiness
- Client focused and support orientated with positive attitude
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, English and French
- Knowledge of minor programming/Scripting in web technologies
- Good understanding of SQL, Oracle database, Linux, Apache Tomcat and general Internet systems configuration
- Understanding of web technology as HTML, CSS, Javascript, Java, Ajax and JSP
- Hybris knowledge
- 5 years experience in a similar position dealing with eBusiness technologies

THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION WITH AN INTERNATIONAL CLIENT, LOCATED IN LAUSANNE, UNTIL THE END OF 2014 IN THE FIRST INSTANCE. INFO-TECH WILL PROVIDE ADVICE AND SUPPORT THROUGH YOUR RELOCATION IF YOU ARE WORKING IN SWITZERLAND FOR THE FIRST TIME.
