Early Years Specialist

The Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle, working in conjunction with ITN Mark Education created a a supply staff service for all Catholic schools in the Diocese called St Cuthbert's Supply Teaching Service (SCST)

Due to rapid expansion and many schools now needing assistance in both day to day and long term cover, we are looking for teachers to join the service, whether on a full or part time basis.

Successful applicants must

* Have QTS or an overseas equivalent qualification
* Be reliable and committed to the profession
* Have relevant recent experince in the Primary Education phase
* Be able to provide details of referees to cover at least the last 2 years

Applicantions are welcome from all who meet the above criteria, whether practising Catholic or not, however it's essential that you are able to support the Catholic ethos of our schools, as well as facilitating and contributing to the social and moral development of the children.

For this reason applicants need to be either a practising Catholic, or holders of the CCRS (or similar) have experience of working in Catholic schools, or have been educated in the Catholic education system and therefore familair with the requirements of the role.
