Band 6 Younger Person's Early Intervention Practitioner - Reading

Our client has a job vacancy for a Band 6 Younger Person's Early Intervention Practitioner in Reading. This is a full time position with an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is 24-26 per hour.

Duties -
- Taking a lead on assessments and engagement of young people experiencing first episodes of psychosis.
- Acting as the link practitioner for specific CMHT's in promoting the service and facilitating referrals and assessments.
- Working collaboratively within an assertive approach to encourage active engagement with service users and their families
- Woking as a proactive and supportive member of the multi disciplinary team.
- Contributing to team training and development sessions by taking a lead in training delivery.
- Maintaining effective implementation of the Care Programme Approach and other legislative procedures.
- Providing appropriate carer's assessment and care plans.
- Actively identifying, assessing and implementing care plans for clients and carers.
- Contributing to the development of the carer's support group.
- Providing psychosocial interventions to clients and their families. This included family work and direct work with children.
- Working in partnership with Children' Social Services and supporting local safeguarding procedures.

Requirements -
- All applicants must have a RMN first level registration, valid NMC registration.
- A minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience working within a similar role.
