E-Procurement Project Manager

For our client in the petrol industry we are looking for professional in SAP MM and E-procurement

LOCATION: Feluy

Our client is currently implementing Ariba E-procurement. They need a functional expert to help them in the implementation as a project manager. In some departments they are using SAP SRM, in others they don't have a E-procurement solution at all. Ariba needs to interface with SAP MM. In the departments were SAP SRM is used, Ariba will replace the SAP solution. In the departments without a E-procurement tool, Ariba will be deployed starting from scratch. The biggest challenge is the interface with SAP MM. They have technical experts in both fields who will do the technical work. Your task will be to map the requirements, and advise on functional configuration of the application. A lot of travelling will be required in this position.

TASKS:

- Create a functional deployment plan in cooperation with the different sites, suppliers and other actors;
- Advise the different client sites on best practice configurations of the application;
- Confirm the consistency of collected data;
- On-site support;
- Coordinate the action of the different stakeholders to ensure swift implementation;
- Take part in testing activities;
- Improve documentation and uses-manuals;
- Train end-users;
- Assist key-users in the post-start phase;
- Manage the development of the E-procurement platform (SAP and Ariba);
- Assist in the technical-functional specifications;
- Coordinate technical/functional workshops;

SKILLS:

- At least 5-10 years of experience;
- Experience in purchasing;
- Knowledge of SAP MM;
- Knowledge of a tool similar to Ariba would be a plus;
- Fluent in English;
- Knowledge of German, Spanish or Dutch will be plus;
- Acknowledged experience in transversal management;
- Experience in analysing requirements;
- Experience in similar projects is a plus.
