E&P Applications Engineer

E&P Applications Engineer required by our client a major player in the energy market. As part of the application portfolio management team, this role will be a key component of a new team for our client that owns and controls the release management of software and application toolkits.

Application portfolio management will involve accountability for identifying, packaging, deploying installing, testing and integrating applications into our clients application toolkits.

Candidates will need to have knowledge of the Oil & Gas E & P Domain, predominantly working with or on clients sites, a high level of understanding and knowledge of E & P Domain software, modern E & P domain workflows, application installation experience,expertise in application packaging procedures, an appreciation of data management challenges and knowledge of Unix, Windows and CITRIX would provide a distinct advantage.

In addition you will be required to own the user acceptance testing (UAT) process up to the release date, managing the introduction of new software releases to the clients teams and ensuring the upkeep of software license Databases.
