Job Description:
Our government sector client is currently sourcing for Top Secret Cleared E-mail Services Resources to perform the following duties:

- Providing users with secure and reliable environments for email and other messaging; it includes email systems for all networks
- Providing support to inter/extra agency and departmental emailing (classified and unclassified)
- Managing the creation and maintenance of public folders accessible to users via MS Outlook. Uses of these folders include: Collaborative email space for user groups, Recipient repository for application/service accounts, Group calendars, contact lists
- Managing the recovery of false positives from Anti-Spam in unclassified network;
- Managing of DNS services, including a hierarchical naming system for computers, services or any resource connected to the network (ie a phone book for translating host/service names into IP addresses)
- Provide a variety of requirements in collaboration with other functional teams including: design, implement, test and maintain email architecture solutions that meet industry best practices and high standards in scalability, interoperability and availability
- Developing deployment and installation plans for new email systems that meet high standards in scalability, interoperability and availability; coordinating the integration testing of new products and services; developing and overseeing migration plans, activates and associated testing
- Working with client technical support personnel on email related issues; providing technical advice on the resolution of email related problems
- Providing technical guidance to technical staff on compliance with policies and regulations and that all issues are addressed and resolved
- Clearly communicating any system issues, outages, or abnormalities to the Task Force Coordinator and client authority
- Providing effective 'on call'support and be prepared to work other than regular business hours as necessary
- Communicating and maintain up-to-date, accurate documentation as directed
- Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and offering viable recommendations
- Working with other CIO personnel on more complex problems as required

Mandatory Qualifications: - Must have an active Government of Canada Top Secret Clearance
- Experience in using the following technologies/methodologies: MS Office Suite including MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
- Must have provided email services support
- Experience providing support in the management of MS Outlook Private and Public folders
- Must have provided support in the management of MS Outlook User and Service Accounts
- Must have dealt with Security policies and standards in order to ensure proper management of SPAM emails
- Provided Domain Name Systems Services support
- Experience finding possible technological solutions to problems and issues identified by clients
