E Design Engineer

Role - E Design Engineer

Location - Milton Keynes
Contract - 6 months

My public sector client is looking to recruit an E Design Engineer for a 6 month contract in Milton Keynes.

Ideally the candidate will have a Railway - Systems Engineering background, which includes experience in dealing with large complex multifunctional projects and be able to demonstrate:

Essential:
*Good level of understanding and application of GRIP or similar Project life cycle; The system life cycle to help effective delivery of Programmes/Projects with a 'whole systems' approach (including Requirements Management, Verification and validation)
*Good knowledge of Systems Integration and Assurance for large Programmes/Projects
*Good understanding and experience of Design Engineering/Technical Approvals
*Relevant Systems Engineering experience within the Rail/Transportation industry
*Chartered Engineer or working towards full professional membership
*Ability to communicate at all levels within a large organisation
*A strong team player

Desirable:
*BEng/MSc in Railway Systems Engineering
*INCOSE membership
*A good understanding of large complex multidisciplinary projects
*A good level of understanding and knowledge of Systems Engineering and its application across various levels of complex multidiscipline systems
*Experience of working on Change projects
