E-Commerce Enviroments Manager

My client, a large financial services company, has an opportunity available for an experienced E-commerce environments manager for a large programme that is on going.

The successful candidate will be the single point of contact eCommerce environments management (internally and externally) to ensure that environments are built as required to Group IT standards and intergraded/connected with existing systems. You will also provide planning and advisory support for environment migrations and decommissioning old infrastructure. You will also be expected to provide a strategic approach/plan towards environments management and service improvement that meets the Programme and Groups strategy.

Required experience:

*Experience of working on eCommerce projects and Programmes
*Planning, reporting and maintaining environment management documentation and booking schedule
*Experience in the management of the environment life cycle
*Experience of UNIX, Linux, Windows and Solaris platforms
*Experience in network infrastructure, routing, Switches, Firewalls, loadbalancers, MQ Webseries, Webservices and connectivity.
*Knowledge of Tomcat, IIS, Apache, .Net, Java, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Silverlight, RET, Teamcity, SVN, Sharepoint
*Scheduling Environment changes overnight and weekends
*Liaising with Project Managers, Production Support, Release Management, Infrastructure/Networking, Development and Testing teams to ensure integrity, high availability across environment
*3-7 years of Environment Management experience
