Description :
Refurbs Flintshire, winner of theFlintshireBusiness Awards 2008: Social and Community Enterprise category and an Approved Re-use Centre (ARC) of Business Excellence awarded to the charity in September 2011.
They are looking to employ a local graduate as an e-Commerce coordinator to assist with the launch of a new e-Commerce website, with social media links. E-Commerce can be defined as the buying a selling of goods and services on the Internet.
From their premises in Aber Park, Flint, they take donations of household items, from sofas and wardrobes through to televisions and fridges, and redistribute them at affordable prices to the local community.
You will be involved in different activities such as marketing, advertising, sale order processing and customer service. You will also be involved in the current business activities such as stock databases, catalogues, search engine optimisation, ordering system, security, order tracking, customer management and stock management.

Duties will include:
Set up an eBay shop, understanding customer needs and competitors' strategies to promote stock.
Take photographs of stock and co-ordinate with the retail and sales team to ensure items are described accurately and priced accordingly, ensuring the quality, and integrity of information on the site.
Co-ordinate ad hoc promotional offers and position popular products to attract customers, either via the e-commerce website or via traditional or Internet marketing avenues. You will also continuously evaluate and change the website as necessary to optimise sales results.
Set up and establish a facebook and twitter page.
Work with a local PR company to ensure the e-commerce website is receiving maximum exposure.
Manage daily incoming/outgoing transactions.

Essential Requirements :
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in marketing, e-Commerce or a related IT discipline. This occupation also requires artistic abilities, knowledge or previous experience in retail merchandising, and knowledge of Internet marketing would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with search engine optimization and conversant with all forms of social media, including facebook and twitter for use within business.

Desirable Requirements :
* Must have a strong understanding of what it takes to develop a successful web-based operation
* Previous experience in a web/e-commerce environment.
* Must possess a broad but thorough knowledge of e-Commerce and IT systems and a good knowledge of relevant business functions.
*Good understanding of e-commerce trends and technologies.
* Good knowledge of Web technology and solutions
* Basic knowledge of networking protocols, configuration, network administration
* Excellent organisational skills.
