DWH Project Manager

For our banking client in Zurich we are looking for a Data Warehouse Project Manager
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months initial contract
Location: Zurich
Languages: English a must, minimum business proficiency in German
ROLE:
- Leading large DHW change the bank solution delivery program (volume ~3.5 mCHF p.a.)
- Full responsibility to manage scope, funding and timeline of the project(s)
- Planning and organizing the releases and all the sprints (drops) within a release
- Manage and organize the team with onsite (RE, DA, SA, SE and Testing) and offshore (SE) resources
- Strong focus on stakeholder management on business as well as on IT side
- Analyze on a high level customer requirements for the PBW (Private Banking and Wealth Management) Data warehouse
- Derive from them mid and long-term roadmap and agree with business (Drive application landscape)
- Regular reporting using OnePPM and Jira to Program Management and Business
- Manage customer bug issues and organize 3rd level support (RTB)
- Collaborate with up- and downstream delivery streams (requirements, development, testing etc.) to optimize their book of work
- Plan project reviews, facilitate issue resolution
- Identify the re-use of opportunities and promote the re-use of components across architecture
- Help drive innovation
SKILLS:
- A minimum of 5-10 years working experience in large DWH projects as PM (Scrum master as a plus)
- Profound skills in project methodologies, experiences with agile
- Jira skills considered a strong plus
- Excellent command of the English language and German considered as a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experienced in stake holder Management and demanding negotiation with Business partners
- Knowledge of formal architectural modelling methods and tools such as UML and Sybase PowerDesigner
- Good knowledge and practical experience of using Enterprise integration patterns
- Motivated and enthusiastic team player, strong communication skills and a conceptual working approach
- Ability to gain consensus when faced with differing views.
- Knowledge of current and future technologies.
- Experience with offshore development
- Excellent documentation skills
