DWH ETL Consultant/Architect
3-4 month contract
Nr Antwerp, Belgium
€75 - €80 per hour
One of our leading global clients is seeking an experienced DWH Consultant to assist them on one of their running projects from their site in Belgium. Our client is globally recognised organisations with a prestige name held within the industry and are looking for a highly driven IT Professional to join their team and aid in the extension of an already existing Datawarehouse.
Primary Tasks and responsibilities:
* For the extension of an existing Datawarehouse (PMO-BI): Several source systems and fact tables will need to be added.
* Analysis of business requirements, and translation of these requirements in updates to the warehouse structure and specifications for the ETL.
* For the same warehouse: possibly, proposal for new structures in light of the improved knowledge around typical queries
Profile requirements:
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing
* Analysis, design of warehouse solutions (+5 years)
* Capable of performing to the bone analysis in a short time
* Capable of writing precise and complete documentation
* Eager
* Accepts personal responsibility for client satisfaction;
* Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills;
* Establishes and manages engagement objectives, expectations and quality plan;
* Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements; -
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision;
* Quick learner, motivated self-starter;
* Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills;
* Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines.
Methodology/Certification requirements:
* Master and/or Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry or Bioinformatics OR equivalent through experience.
* 7+ Years Experience in ETL Tools
* 10+Years Experience in Microsoft Office
* 7+ Years Experience in Oracle 10g/11g
* 7+ Years Experience in SQL Server
* 10+ Years Experience in Windows OS
