DWH/BI Engineer - Banking - Zürich

DWH/BI Engineer (Senior) wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.

YOUR TASKS:

- Managing the operational and administrative tasks to operate the system in a comprehensible mode, ensuring strict separation of duties
- Working with other administrators, engineers and developers to solve third level issues, develop technical solutions and to continuously improve scalability, stability and performance of the whole system
- Being responsible for complex data access roles, tracking and managing all kind of user requests
- Providing competent technical support to peers and third level production team
- Participate on regular stand ups and all other agile/scrum based processes where required

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Practical technical experience with Microsoft BI technologies especially SSRS, SSIS and SSAS
- Proven knowledge of Scripting SQL queries and development of stored procedures
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Oracle and SQL databases
- Know-How of Control-M, PowerCenter, Jira and a script language is an asset
- Ability to work concurrently on a number of different topics
- Languages: Fluent English both written and spoken, German is considered a plus
