DW Data Architecture

My client has an urgent requirement for DW Data Architecture/Insurance Application Architecture for a contract role in Zurich

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

This individual will be a leader and lead level contributor on the Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing (BI/DW) team.
As a Lead, this individual will work in a team environment that is challenging and evolving and they will have input into the team's BI/DW processes and standards. This position requires that the individual be a project lead, accountable for doing designs, doing development and production support as required.
They will also handle the most complex design and development tasks and provide mentoring and guidance to other developers.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

o Experience implementing a BI/DW projects on a large scale: ETL, Data Warehouse, Data Marts, and Analytics.
o 5-7 years of general Business Intelligence and ETL development
o 5-7 years minimum using Informatica Power Center tool, up to and including v9.x
o 5+ years working in an Oracle and other relational databases.
o Experience on large, complex projects doing requirements gathering, working directly with business users
o Strong IT experience doing high-level and detailed designs, following structured and disciplined design methodologies
o Background in designing and implementing complex designs and workflows, including Scripting.
o Experience with all relevant BI architecture, including: security, data management, controls, governance, capacity planning/performance tuning
o Ability/experience providing technical/process direction to other developers, including mentoring others in BI, ETL, Data Modeling areas
o Strong problem solving skills
o Strong data analysis skills, preferably data profiling experience

PROJECT LOCATION: Zurich

DURATION: 6 months

CONTRACT RATE: Market Rates
