DVD Authoring Tech

Our client is a HUGELY POPULAR ONLINE RETAIL ENTERPRISE seeking a DVD AUTHORING TECH to join their team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated, self-directed, enthusiastic person able to work well under pressure and thrive in a deadline driven atmosphere.

All potential candidates must provide a strong portfolio; demonstrate excellent DVD authoring skills and an in-depth knowledge of video specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Capture, edit and encode enterprise content in various formats.
- Author top-tier DVD's for the client's end customers.
- Troubleshoot a wide variety of video errors and provide the necessary fixes.
- Work directly with vendors and account manager to help increase product quality for customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3 years' experience authoring DVD's within an industry standard suite, ie Scenarist, DVD Studio Pro or Premier
- Bachelor's Degree in a video related field required
- Professional understanding of a variety of video codecs in a digital video environment
- Basic knowledge of video production
- Microsoft Office proficiency

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with motion graphics a plus
- Passion for the Movie and TV industries
