DVD Authoring Tech

Our client is a SUPER HIGH-VISIBILITY ONLINE RETAIL ENTERPRISE seeking a DVD AUTHORING TECH to join their team. The ideal candidate would be highly motivated, self-directed, enthusiastic person who works well under pressure and can thrive in a deadline driven atmosphere. All potential candidates must provide a strong portfolio; demonstrate excellent DVD authoring skills and an in-depth knowledge of video specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Capture, edit and encode enterprise content in various formats.
- Author top-tier DVD's for end customers.
- Troubleshoot a wide-variety of video errors and provide the necessary fixes.
- Work directly with vendors and account manager to help increase product quality for customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3 years' experience authoring DVD's within an industry standard suite. ie Scenarist, DVD Studio Pro or Premier
- Bachelor's Degree in a video related field required
- Professional understanding of a variety of video codecs in a digital video environment
- Basic knowledge of video production
- Microsoft Office proficiency

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with motion graphics a plus
- Passionate about the movie and TV industries

This contract position is expected to be 3 months in duration.
