DV Cleared Network Engineer - 6 Months Contract - Wiltshire

We are currently seeking an experienced DV Cleared Network Engineer t o work in a team of network engineers supporting national and multi-national network activities for UK MOD. The work entails designing, building, configuring and (on completion) de-commission secure IS networks in a highly dynamic environment.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Must be able to work independently on complex, dynamic network solutions including documentation and configuration control.
- Must have experience designing and implementing secure local and wide area IP Networks to JSP440/480 requirements.
- Must have direct experience in the use of UK MOD and allied encryption devices. Must have demonstrable experience managing IP Networks using commercial (e. g. WhatsUp GOLD) and open source toolsets using SNMP management.
- Experience configuring and supporting Cisco Call Manager and CME including trunking between Call Managers and managing and supporting users on a VoIP network.
- Good knowledge of MP-BGP, VRF, OSPF, EIGRP protocols
- Proven ability to work in a team under tight time constraints, including working flexible hours.
- Current UK driving licence, and ability to travel within the UK at short notice.
- Knowledge of currently deployed military networks an advantage.
- Candidates from a military signals background would be an advantage.

FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

A current Cisco CCNA qualification (CCNP desirable) with two years recent and active experience, at the level expected of a CCNP qualified engineer.
