Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Design, develop, implement and optimize Microsoft Exchange based messaging systems to ensure uninterrupted electronic communications with applications and user communities
* Implement and maintain systems and technologies (edge systems, message hygiene, and data encryption) to protect data availability, message confidentiality and integrity
* Develop and maintain technical documentation for the entire environment.
* Maintain strict change control on the infrastructure.
* Provide 24/7/365 support for production E-mail systems in an on-call support rotation
* Quickly troubleshoot incidents, determine the root cause, find and implement solutions.
* Measure capacity and performance trends to determine long-term needs.
* Provide systems metrics, root cause analysis and proactive monitoring and communicate any performance degradation to management.
* Lead application software upgrades, security patches and planned maintenance of the corporate email environment including: Exchange 2016 or higher DAG, CAS, hub transport, Edge Servers, Webmail (OWA), Active Sync, AirWatch.
* Maintain best practices advice and technical knowledge of the Microsoft Outlook client.
* Work closely with Server Administration, SAN Storage, and Network and Security teams
* Provide other consulting and technical services as necessary for the successful completion of projects.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience

Qualifications
8-10 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis with an emphasis on infrastructure administration and support.
VMware Certified Professional VCP5-DCV (Data Center Virtualization) or higher
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Windows Server 2012 or higher
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Productivity or equivalent
A minimum of 7+ years of experience administering Microsoft Exchange including the backup and restore of mailboxes.
5+ years of experience in delivering complex technical solutions including planning, development, rollout and support with Windows Active Directory and Exchange.
Experience working in a collaborative environment with LAN/WAN teams to troubleshoot network related issues for Active Directory and Exchange using proven analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency and experience in combinations of Exchange Messaging upgrades, Business Continuity & High Availability, Messaging Consolidation, Secure Messaging, Messaging Archiving, Unified Messaging, Mobile Messaging, Office Communications Server and Exchange Scripting
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Window's Active Directory AD mixed mode environments, AD Replication, Domain Trusts, Group Policy, Login scripts, DNS, WINS, LDAP, IIS, SSL, SMTP
Ability to integrate MS Exchange with other systems to enable key workflows and business processes
Extensive knowledge of databases, logs, mail routing and protocol support
Manage e-mail gateways and policies
Working knowledge of one or more virtualization technologies (such as VMWare)
Experience upgrading to Exchange 2016 required, large mailbox migrations experience.
