DV Cleared Electricians/Electrical Engineers - Harrogate, Yorkshire - 17th Edition

My Defence client requires 4 x Electrical Engineers/Electricians with current DV Clearance to work on a 6 month contract basis. You will be mostly involved in the installation and testing aspects of the role. That is installation of cabling, circuits, power panels, conduit, cable tray, etc. and testing of ground currents, circuit loads, harmonics, etc. There may also be some floor tile cutting and equipment rack installation tasks too.

Previous experience of electrical work in a raised floor data centre environment with 19 inch equipment racks is desirable.

The successful applicant will join a busy team that installs, tests, maintains, repairs and modifies power and grounding infrastructure and cable containment systems in data centre, industrial and office environments.

Minimum qualifications and attributes:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation Engineering.
- City & Guilds 2382 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations.
- Completion of a recognised formal electrical apprenticeship.
- City & Guilds 2391 Certificate in Inspection, Testing, Design and Certification of Electrical Installations (desirable but not essential).
- Experience of working to the US National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) codes, especially NFPA-70 (the US National Electrical Code) and NFPA-70E (the US Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace) (desirable but not essential).

These are 6 month contracts to be based in the Harrogate, North Yorkshire area.
