Our client who are a Global Managing Consultancy require a DB2/DBA for a 3 -6 month contract starting ASAP in Farnborough, Hants.
For this role you will be expected to design, develop and support applications using DB2 products. This role requires experience with VLDBs.
Essential Technical skills:
DB2 LUW on Unix installation, configuration and administration, DB2 LUW fix pack installation AIX 6.
It would be really beneficial to have experience of Hadoop or Neo4J,
IBM AIX 6/7 Linux - Red Hat Enterprise Linux HACMP on AIX, DB2 HADR, DB2 LUW V9.5, DB2 LUW V9.7, DB2 LUW V10.1, DB2 LUW V10.5 Infosphere.
Change Data Capture DB2 Advanced Copy Services - Flashcopy DB2 backup and restore Rational Clearquest and Clearcase Experience on secure projects.
