Dutch Speaking Tester

Proteus Europe is searching for an experienced Tester with expertise in geolocation and interface testing to join a client located in Mechelen, Belgium. This is a contract role with a duration of 6 months.
Our Client:-
Our client is a company run by the Flemish government in Belgium to provide public transportation with about 3650 buses and 359 trams.
Your New role:-
Assignment:
- Start from sept
- Ideal full time, at least 80 percent
- Main activity is to test attendance tables on the various channels
- until Feb 2018
De Lijn works for these ICT projects in an agile (SCRUM) environment in which technical expertise, communication and teamwork are crucial competencies.
The test engineer works within an agile team and stands for functional tests in the daily sprint operation. Affinity with non-functional tests (performance/load, security, fail-over) is a plus.
He/she is an experienced software tester (minimum 3 years experience) with technical background/luggage. He/she has insight into multi-tier applications and dives without fear in databases if necessary. Translating business rules and concrete business situations into practical test scenarios has no secrets for him/her.
The candidate is organized and structured. He/she can set priorities.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Estimate of the required test time
- Impact analysis of planned changes if testing
- Draw up test cases and test scenarios
- Set up test data
- Test execution (manual and automated if possible)
- Reporting and monitoring of defects
- Cause analysis of problems
- Building and maintaining a relevant regression test set
- Continuously consult with product owner and team members
- Reporting product quality and test progress
- Providing product demos
Your Skills and experience:-
Essential Skills:-
Technical Competences:
- Experience with Web Services Testing (SOAP UI, REST API)
- Knowledge of SQL (for test purposes)
- Experience with geolocation, IoT and GPS simulators is a great added value
- Knowledge of JIRA, Git, Jenkins, is a plus
The candidate:
- Has an excellent knowledge of Dutch (oral and written)
- Is communicative and can report clearly and clearly
- Is able to pick up new business quickly
- Works independently and proactively
- Is a team player
- Is with the latest technological developments (hardware and software)
- Can go into detail if necessary without losing sight of the global image
