Dutch Speaking Test Manager

Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch speaking test coordinator/test manager for a 6 month contract in Mechelen, Belgium.

Your New role:-

In the context of increasing the efficiency of daily operations (DOE), the end client is going to implement a new software package that supports and streamlines its core business. This package will be responsible for optimizing the daily operational planning of transport infrastructure. The package will integrate with the existing IT systems, including SAP HCM and the vehicle monitoring and dispatching system. The implementation of this package is phased and is a major challenge, both on a technical and organizational level.

Technical context
The client is looking for an experienced end-to-end test coordinator/test manager to guide the entire test process of the implementation of the software package in the right direction. This test coordinator is responsible for drawing up the test strategy to be followed and its successful implementation.

The already identified tests include: technical and functional integration tests, functional system tests, non-functional tests (performance/load/recovery...), functional end-to-end testing, regression tests, migration tests, user acceptance tests (UAT). Furthermore, it needs to be investigated whether certain tests can be automated.

Business context
The responsibility of the end-to-end test coordinator includes:

o Identifying business stakeholders, ICT stakeholders, key users, ... of the new software package and its peripheral systems and integration lines.
o Adjust the quality expectations of and with all stakeholders.
o Identifying project and product risks.
o Define the test approach/strategy and coordinate this with all stakeholders involved.
o Identifying and assessing the different test phases and test types, and the required resources, both along business and ICT side.
o Prepare a realistic test plan, taking into account the planning of the supplier, the interface systems, the availability of resources and other dependencies/limitations.
o Planning and setting up test environments, test data.
o Coaching and supervising (business) testers during test preparation.
o Organize and coordinate the test execution, for both IT and business testing.
o Manage and follow up the defects found, and report on the solutions.
o Prepare a clear test report.
o Inform project stakeholders about, test progress, test status, residual risks and advise i.v. in-production.

Your Skills and Qualifications:-

Essential Skills:-
You have at least 7 years of recent and relevant experience as test coordinator/test manager
You have experience as end-to-end test coordinator/test manager including test methodology such as V-model and Agile (ISTQB certification is a plus), in at least 2 similar projects with the same size (> 2000 md).
You are not an - administrative- test coordinator, but someone who delves into the content of the project, understands the business, understands the coherence/dependencies between IT systems behind and elaborates on solutions in terms of content.
You are able to coordinate the tests of the various project components without losing sight of the coherence between all parts.
You are a born leader and organizer.
You are strong in listening and asking questions.
You speak both - business- and - technical- language and you can adjust your communication according to your target audience.
You can bring stakeholders on the same line. Yes
You have already orchestrated and supervised User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
