Dutch Speaking Solution Architect. Using Scada

Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch Speaking Solution Architect. using SCADA for our client based in Eindhoven, Netherlands

Your New role:-

SCADA is a system for collecting, transmitting, processing and visualization of measurement and control signals from different machines/devices used in all offices and factories. Currently SCADA is being redesigned, preparing a High Available green field set-up to move the SCADA server systems into a new DC (SCADA Move project).

Scope of the role

The Solution architect is responsible to design (and maintain) the SCADA architecture during the project. The Solution architect acts as a Quality Assurance in the project to make ensure that the projects deliverables meet the Project Start Architecture and quality standards.

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:-

Deliverable/activities

o Based on (already defined) target architecture: prepare document of design choices and their impact on investment, planning and security.
o Project Start Architecture, based on the design choices that are made.
o Ensure that the design complies to security and compliance guidelines; pass security and compliance tollgates.
o Create architecture roadmap regarding SCADA.
o Validate Technical Design (by 3rd party suppliers) and Functional Design to fit in target architecture.
o During the project: act as a quality assurance to ensure that the project delivers its deliverables according to the Project Start Architecture and quality standards.

Key interfaces of the Solution Architect

o Domain architect: alignment of solution architecture to domain architecture.
o IT Architect: 3rd party architect that details the PSA into a detailed infrastructure design to fit standards.
o OT Architect: 3rd party architect that details the Operational Technology/iFix design to fit standards.
o Project Manager: creation of the architecture designs in the project/Quality Assurance.

Experience/technologies

o Extensive experience in Operational Technology (OT) domain, Information Technology (IT) domain and Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
o Architecture Modeling in ArchiMate.
o Operational Technology (OT): iFix (General Electric), Historian, Amis, Energy Management Systems, PLC, ICS security best practices.
o Information Technology (IT): Network- and server architecture, Datapoint Servers, Terminal Servers, Flexpod, High availability and disaster recovery.
