Dutch Speaking Solution Architect

Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch speaking Solution Architect to join a prestigious client located in Mechelen, Belgium. This is a contract role with a duration of 11 months.

Our Client:-
Our client is a company run by the Flemish government in Belgium to provide public transportation with about 3650 buses and 359 trams.

Your New role:-

The current ticket sales system Prodata, based on magnetic cards, was introduced into the early 90s. In the meanwhile, this system is obsolete industrially and functionally. As a result, operating reliability is steadily decreasing and a replacement of the system is required. This replacement will be a fact after the realization of the Bo and ReTi projects. Bo stands for on-board computer; The project embraces the final replacement of the current Prodata driver console, the design of a communications network and the delivery of a number of support services provided by other projects can be used. ReTi stands for - Travelers Registration and Ticketing- the project embraces a new infrastructure for customer recruitment, sales, registration and ticketing, control, data collection and management and revenue management.

Your Skills and experience:-

Technical criteria:
- The proposed candidate has an active knowledge of the Dutch language;
- The proposed candidate has a university or bachelor degree (or

Equivalent through experience);
- The candidate has (at least) ten years of professional experience in areas of expertise related to the delivery of ICT systems;
- The proposed candidate has experience with Archimate as an architecture notation;
- The proposed candidate has experience of using a model tool for documenting an architecture.

Award criteria:
- Knowledge of and experience in setting up and monitoring a solution architecture.
- Knowledge and experience of integrating solutions in complex ICT landscapes

And expertise in integration patterns and techniques.
- Knowledge of and experience with Calypsotechnology.
- Knowledge and experience of public transport solutions.
