Dutch Speaking Senior Systems Engineer

Proteus Europe is searching for a fluent Dutch speaking Senior Systems Engineer for a 6 month contract role based in Brussels, Belgium.

Our Client:- The Ministry of the Flemish Community (MVG) was from January 1, 1983 to January 1, 2006 the official organization of the Government of Flanders, where the Flemish Government policy is implemented. The ministry was divided into departments were headed by a Secretary-General. The departments knew another subdivision in administrations. The administrations were led by a Director General.

Your New role:-

Hiring a senior system engineer for the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries Department of Informatics (ICT).

The Department of Digital Support in the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries stands for:

- The development and maintenance of the application software for agricultural production management, and the insurance of the operation and the security of the relevant information systems.
- The development of ICT services for the entire Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.
- The formulation and follow-up of the budget for the GBCS and the completion of public procurement.
- Building expertise and implementation of e-government projects and administrative simplification.

The senior system engineer is part of the Windows Server Team and helps to fulfil the tasks for which the team is responsible.

A non-limiting list of tasks is:

- Follow up and resolve 2nd and 3rd line incidents
- Performing small implementation questions regarding the services offered
- Performing line-of-business releases on Application Servers
- Performing maintenance of the Citrix XenApp Servers/Remote Desktop Session Hosts
- General maintenance and follow-up of the Windows Server park

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:- - Knowledge and experience (5 years) with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies
- Knowledge and experience (5 years) with Windows Server 2008 or higher
- Knowledge and experience (5 years) with Windows Infrastructure Services (DHCP, DNS, PXE)

Desirable Skills:- Knowledge of one or more of the following
