Dutch Speaking Senior BI Expert

Proteus Europe is searching for a Senior BI expert for our clients in the Antwerp Region - Our Client:-

We are seeking an expert in the BI area to provide expertise in new BI technologies and support design enhancements in our existing BI landscape for our client. This is an EMEA based position sitting in the Regional COE based at Beerse.

Project/Department Description and Responsibilities

The EMEA Business Unit IT (BUIT) Centre of Excellence (COE) executes IT projects and provides expertise in architecture and solution design for EMEA business partners. EMEA is the regional pharma group serving Europe, Middle East and Africa. Collaborating across functions and geographies in an EMEA-wide operating model to commercially bring the pharmaceutical products to the market.

Your New role:-

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities

The BI expert will work closely together with the data management and technical architect to provide BI expertise and best practices to implement our data warehouse in an Amazon Web service (AWS) environment.

Set of tasks will include:

- Provide expertise to explore and implement new capabilities in the BI area.
- Provide data design expertise towards projects and enhancements in the BI area.
- Working with solution design, technical architects and developers to ensure implementation is as designed.

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills :-

- Senior BI expert
- Good understanding of emerging technologies in the BI area: Data lakes, EMR, Cloudera, Redshift, ETL capabilities and data design.
- Experience in traditional datawarehousing to support enhancements in the current landscape and define transition possibilities: Data vault modelling, Oracle DB, Informatica ETL, Qlik.
- Knowledge of SFDC is an asset, since it is our main datasource. Other important datasources are SAP and external data from IMS.
- Able to translate technological capabilities in workable solutions.
