Our client is currently looking for a fluent Dutch J2EE Analyst Programmer (Business Applications Services) for a 13 month contract based in Brussels, Belgium.
The customer deals with all kinds of software applications that provide planning, purchasing, payroll.
The applications are developed with the latest technologies and tiered architectures: HTML5, Web, SharePoint, cloud applications, SOA integration.
You will be responsible for the development, adjustment and maintenance of software applications:
- Enables on the basis of the analysis, the flowcharts and detailed analyzes.
- Programs, maintains and brings improvements to complex programs so that they meet the established quality standards and the required functionalities.
- Is responsible for testing their own and developed by others programs.
- Ensures the support of their own and other advanced applications.
Moreover, you contribute to the 'Applications Services Team' with the following responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the operational management, continuity and optimization of our wide range of applications to support our internal customers.
- As service owner can form the bridge between application, system, database management, project and client. You know the perfect end-to-end chain of your services.
- You participate in the processes of incident problem-, change-, configuration-, and release management.
- You define the procedures and documentation of existing and new applications and maintains.
- You will assist and advise on projects for new installations and following its installation.
- You give objective advice on specific technical questions from colleagues, customers and suppliers.
