Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch Speaking IT Support Engineer for our client based Merelbeke, Belgium

Your New role:-

As an ICT Application Support Engineer, you will support the various applications (Mobile TOM Device/Panasonic FZ-M1), C2C, C2C Web, MDM, AMM, C2C Plan (Click Software), etc. from the Customer Service and more Specifically within ICT Applications Market operation.

'Support' embraces various tasks in incident management, problem management, change and release process and configuration management.

In this role you are responsible for solving technical problems and/or answering functional questions and for documenting new functional nodes.

You will analyze system or business process-related problems and make a performance solution.

You will provide 2nd line support for various applications within ICT Applications Market Operations. In this way, you will answer the end users by telephone to help them further. You will resolve this within the agreed SLAs and report to the team leader.

You make a diagnosis of general incidents and initiate the necessary channels to resolve the incidents as quickly as possible

You provide installations, configuration and support for applications

You are actively involved in problem teams

You create helpline scripts and keep them up-to-date

You complete the knowledge in a knowledge database and provide a clear documentation

You maintain the CMDB according to the arrangements recorded in the Configuration Management Plan

You help in building a good relationship between IT and business departments.

You have the ability to work solution-oriented and perseverance to solve a problem.

Your Skills and experience:-

Minimum Bachelor degree
Experience in supporting remote/mobile workers in a Windows/Linux environment
Demonstrating work experience in user support 5,00 years)
Demonstrated technical knowledge of PCs and Windows 8.1 (2.00 years)
Demonstrating knowledge of windows OS (client + server) 2.00 years)
Significant knowledge of relational databases and SQL (2.00 years)
Significant knowledge of Linux (2.00 years)
Indicative knowledge of Click-Software (2.00 years)
Showable by Jboss and Jon Junior (2,00 years)
Experience as a Support Assistant in an ICT Environment (2.00 years)
Knowledge of the energy sector
