Dutch Speaking Functional Analyst

Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch speaking Functional Analyst to join a prestigious client located in Brussels, Belgium. This is a contract position with a duration of 3 months.

Our Client:-
The Flemish Energy Company (VEB) was established in the beginning of 2012 as an agency of the Flemish government, aiming at energy saving and rational energy use in the broad Flemish government. It is also the responsibility of the VEB to invest in sustainable energy production and delivery. The priority for 2014 is to build a cost-effective and environmentally friendly energy supply to our customers. Inside the VEB is a start-up atmosphere. Currently, there are 20 employees who work hard and heartfelt to achieve the stated goals.

Your New role:-

- Functional Analysis for Terra, the energy and patrimony register for public and semi-public entities within the Flemish Government. Terra maps the energy consumption and offers entities a platform to analyze the energy consumption within their entity (via standard reports, benchmarking, specific analyzes, etc.)
- Translating other customer-specific business needs into functional requirements (eg subsidy applications, energy saving measures, budget estimate and follow-up, bel2030, ...)
- Validating the software implementations (via acceptance tests, among other things)
- You act as an intermediary between business and software developers. You document the business requirements and translate these to user stories.
- You work directly with a team of 3 to 5 programmers

You are the link between the various departments (Deliveries, Energy efficiency, Marketing and Sales and data) and IT. Within IT you will communicate with 2 internal employees and 4 external consultants.
