Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch Speaking Creative Developer for our client based in Brussels, Belgium
Our Client :-
Our client is the national public-service broadcaster for the Flemish Region and Community of Belgium
Your New role :-
As Creative Developer Innovation you are part of the VRT Innovation team. You report to the Lead Developer Innovation and work within the data team. You have the opportunity to build and test new prototypes. You dare to question used technologies and methods and come up with alternatives. For this you work together with various project teams.
Technical context
Business context You are responsible for the development of new concepts and software applications within a media context
You have an interest in data engineering
You closely follow new production techniques and content formats within media
You think about the user-friendliness of a concept and also adjust your approach based on insights
You can split up problems into sub-problems and thus realize innovative concepts
You regularly test your new concepts with users and send where necessary
You have an eye for new applications in the workflow of existing productions.
Your goal is to come to a developed pilot version
Your Skills and Qualifications :-
Essential Skills :-
Demonstrable experience with coding skills such as JavaScript and TypeScript (3.00 years)
Demonstrable experience with frameworks such as React, ReactNative (3.00 years)
Demonstrated experience with NodeJS (3.00 years)
Demonstrable experience with projects in a Linux/UNIX environment (3.00 years)
Demonstrable experience with Python is a plus (3,00 years)
Demonstrable experience with Angular and Ionic are a plus (3.00 years)
Demonstrable experience with data management and data visualization is a plus (1.00 years)
Perfect oral and written knowledge of Dutch
