Dutch Speaking Citrix System Administrator

Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch speaking Citrix System Administrator to join a prestigious client located in Mechelen, Belgium. This is a contract position with a duration of 6 months.

Our Client:-
Our client is a company run by the Flemish government in Belgium to provide public transportation with about 3650 buses and 359 trams.

Your New role:-

- You are in charge of the technical realizations and you provide the necessary installations and configurations of the software (in projects) in order to successfully set up the IT environment.
- You create documents in a consistent and quality manner.
- You update documents and publish consistent and quality documentation.
- You draw out configurations to transfer the various operational procedures, checklists and guidelines, including server and software installations and configurations, to colleagues in the system administrators team.
- You provide the necessary tools to ensure the stability of the environment within the agreed service levels.
- You offer 2nd and 3rd line support for incidents at end user (s) of your infrastructure

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:-
- You have 5 years relevant experience Citrix XenServer/XenCenter
- You are certified in Citrix XenApp 6.5: CCEE/Citrix XenDesktop 7.x: CCP-V
- You have ideal experience with Citrix Netscaler 10 Essentials and Networking
- You have knowledge of LDAP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012 and notion of SQL commands and Scripting
- You have knowledge and understanding of automation methodology for deployment purposes within a Citrix environment (silent installation)
- You can organize your work independently
- You are an enthusiastic and professional team player
- You are analytical and can think of problem solving
- You are communicative
- You are stress-proof and instructive
- You have both a passion for IT technology and customer service
- You are punctual with a big sense of responsibility.
- You have a Driving License B
- You can read Dutch, speak and write Dutch. Passive English Knowledge.
