Dutch Speaking Business Analyst

Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch Speaking Business Analyst for our client based in Brussels, Belgium

Our Client:-

Our client is an international consultancy with a reputation for delivering on projects with their consultancy customers. You will join and be part of their team to ensure this current project is a complete success.

Your New role:-

The business analyst will be responsible for:

detailed identification, analysis, description and validation of both existing business processes and new (non) functional needs of the users (user requirements/use cases). He/she formulates propositions to improve different aspects of the business processes.
working closely with the business users and IT Analysts/development teams in view of refining and validating the proposed choices and solutions.
defining and describing the test plan and test cases - provide the necessary support to testers;
producing all documentation needed throughout the different stages of projects; following the case this will be in English

Deliverables

The business analyst is responsible for delivering, with respect of the deadlines of:

- a description of the business context (- as is- and - to be-)
- the project glossary
- business requirements
- use cases
- test plan and cases
- documentation and manuals
- Final goal is to be able to perform an initial cost estimate and high level overview of the existing systems and the additional needs

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:-

Business skills:

Leadership skills to drive workshops and requirement sessions with business
Ability to evaluate, prioritize and optimize the business processes and functions;
Knowledge on the automotive sector and supply chain

Analytical skills

Capable of working at a conceptual level;
Possess analytical skills necessary for understanding and analysing problems, proposing solutions and assessing the specific requirements of the proposed (alternative) solution(s);
Ability to use different techniques and have a structured approach for:
- identifying, analysing and approving user requirements
- testing and approval;

Have a business process-oriented vision;
Agile/Scrum methodology

IT skills:

Ability to communicate properly with the IT-project team;
Sufficient knowledge to understand IT-language.

Other skills

Ability to formally document the correctly compiled requirements in writing (English).
These requirements will need to be understood and used by the various project stakeholders;
Communication skills for interviewing and getting agreement on conclusions;
Planning and organisational abilities (time management);
Good team player
Customer oriented

Education and experience

Bachelor or Master
At least 5 years proven experience as Business analyst showing he/she was - key- in the successful completion of a pertinent project.
