Dutch Speaking AEM Developer

Proteus Europe is searching for Dutch and English speaking AEM Developer for a role in Belgium.

YOUR NEW ROLE:-

Basic objective:

IT eDevelopment is a subdivision of IT Delivery. IT eDevelopment has as core activities the development and maintenance of various customer-facing communication channels.
At IT eDevelopment, the customer is first, in which, in consultation with the internal customer, the correct balance is sought between flexibility and professionalism, resulting in qualitative deliveries with respect for the deadline set.

As a developer, you will work as a developer in a team that is responsible for the clients website. This website is an important link for our client, as this is the main access points for their customers and their digital adventure. You are looking for a healthy balance between technical complexity and managing as many customers as possible while keeping an outstanding performance in mind. You keep a good overview of all the components of the application and you know when to pragmatically distinguish between future-proof solutions and requirements that need to be done quickly. In addition, you have a good and proven knowledge of the Adobe Experience Manager platform to make the right decisions.

Result areas:

- Convert and develop the requirements and user stories into an appropriate architecture and solution in consultation with the internal client, IT architecture and IT Middleware;
- Writing automated unit and integration tests;
- Formulating improvement proposals;
- Developing technical guidelines;
- Documenting the implemented architecture and solution;

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:-

Essential Skills:- - Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant experience as AEM developer and Java
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English
- Application Servers like Weblogic and JBoss
- Adobe Experience Manager
- SCRUM, TDD, Continuous Integration;
- Tools like GIT (Stash), Jenkins and Jira;
- Implementation of - and integration with Web Services (SOAP, JSON);
- Global knowledge of networking, Scripting and security concepts.

- You are familiar with internal procedures regarding standardization of development methods and their documentation;

- You have experience in Adobe Experience Manager
- Team is currently working on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Minimum 2 to 3 years AEM Experience/Experience with Java 7 (8 is a plus)
