Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch speaking .NET Developer to join a prestigious client located in Brussels, Belgium. This is a contract position with a duration of 11 months.
Our Client:-
The Ministry of the Flemish Community (MVG) was from January 1, 1983 to January 1, 2006 the official organization of the Government of Flanders, where the Flemish Government policy is implemented. The ministry was divided into departments were headed by a Secretary-General. The departments knew another subdivision in administrations. The administrations were led by a Director General.
Your New role:-
The medium level .NET Developer will be used for various projects within the ICT department of ANB, among others in the context of the LIFE project (LIFE 14 IPE B002 BNIP action A9).
The .NET developer is used to further develop and provide new forms for the ANB E-commerce and support of various existing applications within ANB.
He/she develops the application based on a functional user story (possibly self-written) and writes the necessary user stories. Development is always happening in the already developed ANB framework. In consultation with fellow analyst programmers, they are further developed.
Your Skills and experience:-
Essential Skills:-
At least 5 years of experience with web application development.
Things should be well known:
- C #
- JQuery
- ASP.NET MVC
- EntityFramework
- LINQ to SQL
- ArcGIS web development
- ArcGIS web services
Desirable Skills:-
Flexible are in use of code versioning (eg Subversion) and issue management tools (eg Jira).
Experience with Agile operation is a requirement.
