DSP/Firmware Engineer - North West - £30-40 per hour

(DSP, C++, C, SHARC, Analogue, Audio Frequency Processing, Low Frequency)

Experienced DSP/Firmware Engineer is required for an initial 3 month project which will include working on DSP for Audio Frequency Processing.

The company has had year on year growth since its inception and continues to be a market leader within it field. They are now looking to expand into new markets and as such require a specialist DSP engineer to work within the R+D team to develop a new proof of concept security product. If successful this will lead to future work for the engineer and further growth for the company.

The role will involve low level programming working on a SHARC processor. You will be taking low frequency signals coming in on an audio bandwidth and converting them into positioning markers; therefore algorithm development experience is vital.

Key Skills:

-Experience working with Analogue Electronics

Ideally you will also have GUI and PC Application development experience as they would like to be able to demonstrate the product in this format to non-technical people.
