I am currently seeking an experience DSP Hardware Engineer to work a world renowned company based in Belgium.
Some key information regarding this opportunity is as follows:
Rate: €65-€75ph
Duration: 12 months minimum
Location: Belgium
The Product Line Personal Health, develops application specific IC's for use in "Hearing Aids and Implants"-, "Hearables"- and "Personal Health monitoring" applications
Scope of work
* You will be responsible for the definition, implementation, documentation and verification of the Digital Signal Processor Core's and Instruction sets to be Embedded in our application specific IC's.
* You will be responsible for defining and designing the Audio Processing sub-system according to the agreed specifications on audio performance and power dissipation.
Skills Required
* A fundamental understanding of Digital Signal Processor architectures including multi-processors designs, instruction set design, SOC networks, memory architectures, pipe-lining, arithmetic data operations, etc.
* Knowledgeable about audio processing, both in time- and frequency domain, multi-rate filtering, sample rate conversion and adaptive filtering.
* Notions of wireless audio streaming and related communication protocols.
* Experience with HW/SW co-design, preferably with Synopsis Target Compiler Technology.
* Strong experience in Ultra Low Power ASIC/SOC design and verification, both Front End and Back End
