DSL NOC (Network Operations Center) Technician Job

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- Must have a clear understanding of TCP/IP.
- Must understand the function of a ping.
- Must be able to work any shift.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Answer inbound calls from Installation, Repair, and Provisioning Teams.
- Resolve, dispatch, or escalate individual customer trouble reports.
- Monitor and update ticket queue.
- Provide maintenance support for High Speed Internet Network.
- Working cross departmentally to ensure that outages are properly reported and resolved.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Two to three (2-3) years of experience in Telecommunications.
- Must have experience working in a NOC environment and experience working with Remedy ticketing systems.
- Have experience navigating in a Windows environment.
- Flexibility to work in 24 x 7 environments.
BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communications skills.
- Must be able to learn quickly and manage changing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- A+ Certification or CCNA is preferred.
