DRUPAL DEVELOPER needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Arlington, Virginia.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Five (5+) years of Drupal Development
- PHP Experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Job responsibilities include managing the overall flow of code and content from local development to UAT and staging environments. Assist web developers with technical challenges in performing code updates; collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, testers, and product owner to share technical components and knowledge; meet project deadlines; and contribute to technical documentation.
- Perform as a Senior software developer leading a small team of other PHP/Drupal programmers
- Manage the overall flow of code and content from local development to UAT and staging environments.
- Assist web developers with technical challenges in performing code updates; collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, testers, and product owner to share technical components and knowledge
- Meet project deadlines

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience in application development and/or support experience across the full application life cycle.
- Experience developing websites and web applications including strong design sense and strong skills in information architecture and usability.
- Must be able to guide design discussions to ensure good practices with regards to design that should be in code, content, or business rules engine.
- Four (4+) years of experience working with DRUPAL. Also, must have experience working on Drupal sites, modules and themes.
- Three (3) years of experience in Strong Front End Developer with associated skills PHP, HTML5, CSS2/3, JavaScript, ASP.NET, XML, JSON, Front End libraries
- Strong knowledge of Drupal-adjunct technologies such as, the LAMP platform, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery.
- Prior experience with PHP and web application programming concepts.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with designers, programmers, management and clients.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience doing Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience working in SBM, SVN, and GIT
- AWS cloud services
- Experience debugging and testing code for usability, security, accessibility and browser compatibility.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation, and testing of Internet/Intranet web sites
- Good interpersonal skill to interact with customers and team members
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and support personnel
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to lead others on the project team
