Drupal Developer - Drupal 7, HTML, PHP Drupal Developer We are the first company in the political consulting and services industry to marry traditional media and online media.

Responsibilities
*Create and maintain websites using Drupal and other CMS tools
*Build custom themes for Drupal
*Write code for new web pages and layouts in HTML and CSS, integrating external tools such as social networking via Embedded widgets or donation platforms using API
*Write CSS from scratch, understand and troubleshoot styles for cross-browser compatibility
*Using Adobe Creative Suite, cut up website designs, feature images, adapt graphics and logos, and translate website mockups into code

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
*Proficient in Drupal theming, custom module development, key contributed modules and the core API, Panel, CCK, Views
*Proficient in PHP, ideally within a GNU/Linux, Apache, MySQL environment
*Proficient in SQL, relational databases and MySQL; skill with tools like phpMyAdmin and the MySQL CLI
*Proficient in JavaScript and familiar with AJAX and JQuery
*Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites
*Proficient in creating user-facing interfaces with 508 compliance on CSS, HTML, JavaScript and related frameworks
*Sound knowledge of using templates to theme components
*Experience integrating free software and third party applications into existing systems
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Experience with HTML 5, CSS 3, and other emergent standards
*Write XHTML from scratch without the aid of an editor and have a full understanding of the DOM
*Professional manner
*Ability to work successfully in a team environment, as well as to work independently and exercise sound professional judgment with minimal supervision
*Commitment to responsiveness and customer service
*Experience working in a political and/or public affairs agency or campaign environment a plus

Education and Training
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
