Drupal Developer

Drupal Developer required on a 6 month contract. The Drupal Developer you will play a key role in the development and optimization of a brand new corporate website and sales platform.

Working closely with the existing developers, designers and UX teams, the Drupal Developer will contribute to the design, build, on-going development, testing, and bug-fixing of their Drupal platforms; from both a Back End and Front End development perspective.

It is essential that the Drupal Developer has commercial experience using Drupal 7 and Drupal 8 would be advantageous but in a non commercial environment is also beneficial, The Drupal Developer requires in depth skills across the entire LAMP stack including unrivalled PHP, and MySQL skills.

It is also highly desirable that the Drupal Developer has experience of Agile and Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies, GIT and Jenkins, and automated testing including use of PHPUnit and/or SimpleTest.

To summarise the Drupal Developer will ideally have knowledge in the following areas:

- Drupal 7 development (Drupal 8 knowledge highly desirable)
- High scale, and high performance website architecture
- PHP and MySQL
- HTML, CSS, and Javascript/JQuery
- Agile
- TDD
- Automated testing using PHPUnit and/or SimpleTest

In addition to strong Drupal and PHP development skills you need to be a first-rate communicator, with the ability to work solo or as part of a team.
