Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer on site, you will be working a FIFO 8/6 roster out of QLD and you will be working closely with both technical and production departments.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Design and implementation of the site's drill and blast processes
- Forecasting, planning and scheduling
- Compliance with site health and safety standards
- Liaising with production crews
To be considered for this role you will need:
- A degree qualification in Mining Engineering
- 3+ years experience in hard rock mining
- Exposure to mine surveying and mine planning
- To be competent in mine planning software
Salary depends on experience, but will be in the region of $120K - $140K+ benefits. Salaries outside that range can be considered for those with exceptional levels of experience.
