Draughtsperson

A leading name in process and industrial equipment production is currently looking for a contract Draughtsperson to assist with three high-priority projects for end clients in the food industry.

Supporting the existing Mechanical design team, you'll be required to produce equipment and pipework layout diagrams, as well as detailing and drawing related to process equipment and conveyor systems. You may also be required to attend client meetings and progress reports, providing input where appropriate.

You should be proficient in AutoCAD to produce accurate piping, layout and general arrangement drawings. As a proficient and pro-active draughtsperson you will be able to work autonomously or as part of a team to meet project deadlines. Ideally you will have some experience with SolidWorks for 2D and 3D design purposes; although not essential, this will assist with taking and delivering client requirements in their favoured CAD package. There will also be an element of customer and client liaison, therefore any previous roles you have held with this responsibility will be of extreme interest.
