Draughtsman/BOM Engineer - Contract

Amoria Bond are currently searching for a Draughtsman/BOM Engineer for a 3 month contract based in Staffordshire.

Our client are a specialist supplier of bespoke equipment for various industries, in particular they make products which are from sheet metal and fabricated structures. Due to an overload of work currently, they require additional support in the design office. This is in immediate requirement with an interesting client and working environment, if you are expert in Solidworks, please get in touch.

Day to day tasks:

-Updating drawings at customer requests.
-Updating change notes
-Working on the BOM's
-Updating assemblies
-Providing supporting design documentation
-Some design work will be required, although the major part of the role is more on documentation support

Skills required:

-Sheet metal and fabrications knowledge
-Knowledge of welding/welded structures would be an advantage
-CAD knowledge/design capability. The client uses Solidworks, but we will consider other CAD package experience such Pro/Engineer, Inventor, Unigraphics NX, SolidEdge or CATIA.
-Experience of producing the Bill of Materials (BOMs)
-Methodical approach/accurate
