Draughtsman

Background

A company that specialise in commercial vehicles is seeking to recruit a Solidworks Draughtsman to work on a contract based in North Yorkshire that is initially scheduled for 4 - 6 months.

The Role

This contract will involve using Solidworks to perform design work related to various structural and mechanical aspects of buses and coaches. You'll be reporting into the Engineering Manager and gain help and support from the rest of the design team.

Experience

You'll be fluent in Solidworks with the ability to learn at a fast pace. Even though you'll be supported by the team you'll need to be able to think and run off your own steam. You'll have some experience of working within a drawing office environment however this is not essential.
