A key Client of Huxley Associates is currently looking for a Draughtsman to add to their growing team of engineers in Aberdeen. Based in Aberdeen, UK, with an experienced and dedicated engineering team, together with QA, procurement and extensive workshop and yard facilities, the company specialise in taking engineering solutions from concept Front End Engineering Design (FEED), through detailed design, to manufacture and finished product. Job Description My Client has an opportunity for a Draughtsman skilled in 3D modelling and the production of associated drawings. The primary design software is SolidWorks which is used for all modelling, detail and assembly drawings. The capabilities of the software are also utilised in the production of equipment sequence storyboards, animations and marketing materials. All 3D models, drawings and associated engineering documents are revision controlled using PDM Workgroup. Working closely with the design, project and analysis engineers you will be involved in taking products from initial concept through to final build, test and delivery. The role will also include part number creation and assisting with the compilation of bills of materials. My Clients product range embraces a number of disciplines mainly in mechanical and structural engineering with elements of hydraulic controls providing a challenging and interesting environment in which to apply engineering and CAD skills.
