Drafter

IMMEDIATE NEED FOR CONTRACT POSITIONS : Large utility is seeking a CIVIL OR ELECTRICAL DRAFTSPERSON in Southwest Virginia with a two (2) year degree and very STRONG experience in Microstation but will accept strong AutoCAD experience. This is a long term contract assignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Cad Draftsperson or graphics technician position works with the engineers in developing the drawings necessary to go to construction.
- Responsible for the development of plan and profile drawings.

REQUIREMENTS

- Requires a minimum of a two (2) year degree and very STRONG experience in Microstation but will accept stong AutoCAD experience
- Must have either civil or electrical drafting skills preferably with 3D experience
- Experience with ESRI GIS mapping computer software in creating drawings for construction projects is desired
- Experience with PhotoShop software is desired but not required.
- Experience with property exhibits, maps, engineering sketches, structural and material drawings are all preferred.
