Projektbeschreibung

Client just west of Boston has a temporary need for an experienced Solidworks drafter to produce 2D shop drawings and assembly drawings from existing 3D design models. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of Solidworks experience with particular emphasis on creating 2D drawings, organizing BOMs and supporting procurement of fabricated and COTS parts. Most fabricated parts are sheet metal, so experience detailing sheet metal parts is a plus. Please note that this is not a design assignment. Candidates will be evaluated based on their drafting and documentation experience only.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Produce 2D shop drawings and assembly drawings from existing 3D design models
- Organizing BOMs and supporting procurement of fabricated and COTS parts
- Documentation

REQUIREMENTS

- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of Solidworks experience
- Experience detailing sheet metal parts
