Doors Engineer

DOORS Engineer required to deliver the development and configuration of Safety related DOORS modules.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the below tasks:

Responsibility for DOORS in accordance with company procedures for safety related modules including:
Working with design leads to identify, update and link safety related artefacts to provide traceability between safety requirements, hazards, controls and evidence modules.
Supporting design leads in customer meetings to review traceability.
DOORS Baselining, import and export to support review and configuration management of safety artefacts.
Supporting the document review process and liaison with configuration engineer to ensure validity of linked artefacts.
Supporting the Safety Programme Manager in achieving schedule dates.
These responsibilities require effective, efficient and accurate operation of related business processes, practices and procedures.

The successful candidate will have the below skills:
DOORS experience.
Knowledge of Baselines, Configuration Management and Engineering Change best practice.
Experience of working in an engineering/manufacturing organisation in a configuration role.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbally, with a broad range of people.
Knowledge of DOORS DXL sufficient to produce custom Views, Reports and Metrics.
Candidates must be willing to undergo a security vetting procedure.
