Omschrijving:
For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Domain architect for the roll out of the Data Lakes. He will become the subject matter expert and will be responsible from an architectural point of view for the complete lifecycle taking the FLF framework through a succesfull implementation in the roll out countries. You will be working closely together with the Chief Architect and the Data Lake lead architect
Together with the lead architect set up complete implementation architectures for Data Lakes consisting of baseline architecture, target end state, roadmap and migration scenarios. Due to the size of the domains it is required to create a structured break down resulting in various sub domains with clear demarcation boundaries

Responsibilities;
You align your domain vision with the long term IT vision and the business strategy. Accountable for reducing complexity and reducing technical debt in the IT chains.

General knowledge;
'The domain architect :
- develops and maintains the implementation architecture in the countries and the migration roadmap that drives the local change portfolio
- has complete knowledge of the Data Lake concepts
- Coaches the implementation teams in realising the architecture for this domain.
- Aligns this domain with the other domain and infra architects
- is a trusted advisor on L2 and L3 level for both business and IT
- Has implemented DWH in large international organization, cross border
- Worked in agile development environments

Technical knowledge:
'Up to date knowledge of IBM-IIS suite, focus on Datastage, IGC and Data Quality tooling.
Hands on experience with a number of areas like Data Warehouse design, Data Modelling, Scheduling tools, Continious development, zero touch deployment.
Tools like Artifactory, GITLab, IDA/PowerDesigner, scripting

Competences:

Languages:
English, Dutch is a pro.

Description:
You will be working within the department Enterprise Architecture and reporting to the Team Manager. The team consists of 12 architects. The team has the global architectural responsibility for all domains. You will be working closely with product owners and DevOps teams on the architectural backlog.
