Documentation Officer

We have a fantastic 4 month contract opportunity for an experienced DOCUMENTATION OFFICER to join a recognised Government Owned Corporation. In this role, you will report to the Senior Documentation Officer to revise, maintain and promulgate documentation.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

- Independently provide high quality documentation which is fit for purpose, distributed appropriately and meets customer expectations
- Issue, amend and promulgate documentation in both electronic and hard copy format
- Exercise independent judgment interpreting technical requirements of amending documentation
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, standards, rules or procedures relating to document management
- Use multiple software packages under limited direction to register, edit, maintain and control a range of documentation/information.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Demonstrated high level of computer literacy and practical experience with, or the ability to acquire the necessary skills for a range of Microsoft and Adobe applications
- Demonstrated time management skills and an ability to work accurately under pressure and with limited supervision
- Highly developed aptitude for attention to detail
- Demonstrated understanding of documentation principles and practices
